James Madison University made plans to transform their existing Convocation Center into an exclusive facility dedicated to their competitive volleyball program. With the assistance of the Gerflor technical team, our proprietary ‘Solid Rubber Inlay’ BleacherBlok® product was used to protect and reinforce the bleacher areas, with Taraflex Sport M Comfort selected as the athletic surface for the main play areas. The result is a stunning showpiece for the university’s athletic programs.
Taraflex® Sport M Comfort is a high performance sports flooring that is engineered for intense training, repetive jumping and maximum comfort. ASTM F2772 Class 4 shock absorption reduces long-term injuries and immediate injuries on impact.
