This project presented some significant installation challenges. The original wood floor from 1950 had failed due to flood damage, but the concrete slab had been depressed about 3” to accommodate the sub floor construction, which would no longer be used with a Taraflex® installation.
In a unique partnership, Vector Concepts worked with both Gerflor USA and Sport Court to combine Sport M Plus Dry-Tex resilient vinyl playing surface with Portafloor MAX, a synthetic sub base system that elevated the profile of the finished playing surface level with the surrounding flooring.
