In August 2025, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte upgraded its athletic facilities with a new Taraflex® court at its Charlotte, NC, campus.

The installation features Taraflex® Sport M Plus in a combination of Wood Forest Green and Maple, creating a clean, modern look that reflects the energy of UNC Charlotte athletics. Engineered for durability and high performance, the surface delivers enhanced shock absorption, comfort, and responsiveness.

Athletes felt the difference immediately: “The court is quicker, smoother, bouncier, and it’s protecting their bodies at the same time.” UNC Charlotte’s coach shares: “This world-class surface is going to raise the level of everything we do.” To put it simply, the coach said it best: “This is an investment in our players, our program, and our future.
