In August 2026, Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, welcomed a new portable Taraflex® court to the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. Featuring Taraflex® Sport M Plus in Light Cherry with Black accents, the court provides Terrier Volleyball with a championship-level playing surface for training and competition.

The project was inspired by supporters of the volleyball program who saw Taraflex® in use at NCAA Championship events and other top Division I facilities. Recognizing the benefits it could bring to Wofford’s student-athletes, they came together to make the new court a reality.

Taraflex® was chosen to help reduce the physical demands placed on athletes while providing a consistent, high-quality playing experience. For Wofford’s supporters, the investment was about more than installing a new floor. It was about giving student-athletes access to the best possible environment to train, compete, and succeed.

Made possible by the support of the Wofford community, the new court represents a shared commitment to the future of Terrier Volleyball.
